Kings Mountain School – 50 Years of Learning, is a documentary produced for Kings Mountain School to commemorate the school’s 50th anniversary.

The movie recognizes the uniqueness of the small school and the part that the spirit of volunteerism plays in creating a successful learning experience for children in this remote rural area of San Mateo County.

This movie was produced as a contribution to the local community, and produced entirely at The Ranch’s studios. It was shot with Sony DV cameras and also includes vintage footage and stills contributed by the parents and students. Vintage footage was transfered to DV and edited in Apple’s Final Cut Pro. The DVD was produced using DVD Studio Pro.
