The New Basics Series: With Chef Jill Dupleix

In April of 2005, Silverback Books will launch their new book series The New Basics with Chef Jill Dupleix. The New Basics will replace Silverback’s all-time best-selling series, “The Basics”, that has sold over 500,000 copies since its release in 2000.

Real Food Entertainment has obtained an option to simultaneously launch, The New Basics WebDVD CookDisc™ product with Silverback Books release of the book, leveraging upon their marketing and distribution expertise. While the titles will be available in traditional consumer bookstores, distribution of The New Basics will focus on retail “specialty” stores, including Williams-Sonoma, where they have had their primary success over the history of The Basics product.

With an emphasis on technique and style, our host, chef/author Jill Dupleix brings her down-under, Australian charm to this instructional WebDVD CookDisc™. Jill provides easy to replicate recipes with step-by-step video tips, and guides home-cooks over any fears they have about learning to cook.
