The
Art of Selling
Hollywood
One
hour documentary, from the inside of the Hollywood marketing
machine. Many of Hollywood's best marketing tricks are time
honored traditions: hosting glitzy premieres, producing promotional
trailers and planting stories to get a buzz for a film. Today
there are also new and innovative marketing strategies, including
the use of the Internet, a greater reliance on television
commercials and the realization that merchandising is now
a key part of any film's marketing campaign.
